Fred E. Hartman, Jr.

Fred E. Hartman, Jr., 92, lifelong resident of Crete, Army veteran of Korean Conflict.  Beloved husband of 34 years to the late Dolores Hartman (nee Hering); Loving father of Deborah (Bill Latura) Hartman; Dear uncle to Rick (Kenora) Hartman, Dr. Len (Rhonda) Hering, Edward (Nicole) Hering, Ron (Linda) Hering, Sue (Mark) Brock, and Kathleen (Carl) Smith. In addition to his wife, Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred, Sr. and Bess Hartman; and his brother Richard I. (Late Roberta) Hartman. Fred retired from Northern Illinois Gas Company after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Lions Club of Crete. All who knew him knew of his love for animals, especially feeding the birds. You could often find him doing “Do-It-Yourself” projects throughout his home. Visitation Saturday, May 21^st, 2022, 10 AM until time of service at the Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 24800 S. Governors Hwy., Monee, IL. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery.
