Gertrude "Trudy" Korn

Gertrude “Trudy” J. Korn, 81, of the Beecher Manor Nursing & Rehab Center, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 30th, following a short but brave battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago on March 18, 1937 to the late Ernest and Jeanette Korn. She is survived by her God Daughter and dearest friend, Patty Hand and God Son, Joseph Fitzpatrick; Many loving cousins and friends. Services will be held Friday, August 3rd, 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Interment Chapel, 7201 S. Archer Ave. in Justice, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a pet shelter in Trudy’s memory would be appreciated. Family and friends are encouraged to sign the online directory.
