Gloria May Workman

Gloria May Workman. 84 years old. Peacefully passed away at her home on March 23^rd, 2022. Gloria was born in Evergreen Park on August 31^st, 1937, the daughter of John and Francis (Katzmanski) Sandraco. She lived in Palos Hills, where she met her husband, then moved to Worth. She lived the last 50 years in Mokena, Illinois.

She is survived by her children Robert and Carol (Smoody) Workman Jr., Richard and Mary (Zanger) Workman, Lorie (Workman) and Mathew Bastien; Grandchildren, Erika Workman, Bryan Workman, Andrew (Alyson) Workman, and Charles (Kelly) Workman; Sister-in-law Diane Szelag (nee Workman) and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, her loving husband of 59 years, Robert R. Workman Sr., daughter Dena Workman and grandson Richard Workman.

Gloria devoted her life to the love and care of her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed conversing with everyone, and especially enjoyed the conversations reminiscing about the good old days. She enjoyed dinners out and the holidays with her family. She also enjoyed time at botanical gardens and on vacations throughout the United States. She gave of herself throughout her life. She is now at rest with the Lord. A private interment ceremony will be conducted at a future date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cook County, Illinois.
