John E. Trumpus

It is of deep sadness to announce the death of John E. Trumpus, age 65 of the Village of Mokena, Illinois. He passed in his home unexpectedly on November, 19th, 2024. John Trumpus was born on April 28th, 1959 in Oaklawn, IL. John is survived by His wife, Deborah Hutson-Trumpus of 24 years and their loyal 4 legged companion, Lola. In addition to his wife, he will be greatly missed by Stepson Daryle (Melissa) Loehr , Three grandchildren, Mckenzie Loehr, Hannah Loehr, Jordan Loehr, Four Brother in laws Greg Hutson (Cindy), Doug Hutson (Terri), Geoff Hutson (Karen), Rob Hutson (Janet) and Uncle Rex Plattner. John is preceded in death by his mother Marlene Trumpus, his father, Richard John Trumpus and his mother in law, Marion Hutson and his father in law, Bud Hutson. He will be greatly missed by those whom loved him dearly. John worked and retired from Comcast after 30 years. He enjoyed being in nature and took pride in his hobby of fishing. John had a generous soul and was always eager to lend a helping hand to family, friends and strangers alike. Although John is gone, he will live in our hearts forever. Memorial Service will be held at Hope Church in Frankfort, IL on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 3 p.m.
