Leonard “Len” Warbiany, 73, of Alsip, passed away following heart complications on January 12, 2023. He was born in Chicago on November 9, 1949 to the late Julius and Gertrude Warbiany (nee Maruszak). He was preceded in death less than a month ago by his beloved wife of nearly 49 years, Sharon Warbiany (nee Grant); He is survived by his loving children, Shawn (Holly) Warbiany, Shannon (Joseph) Donato, and Phillip (Mary) Warbiany; Cherished grandchildren, Gianna Donato, Haleigh Donato, Jacob (Lauren) Warbiany, Ryley Warbiany and Chase Warbiany. Len was a former truck driver and current dispatcher for GT Express Trucking in Kankakee. Len was a medic in the Army during Viet Nam. In his free time, he enjoyed playing his drums, loved music, loved fishing, but lived for his family, especially his grandchildren! He will be greatly missed by all that knew him! Visitation will be at Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park on Tuesday, Jan. 17th from 2:00 – 8:00 PM. He will also have visitation at Bernard Funeral Home, 376 Main Street, Russell Springs, Kentucky on Thursday, Jan. 19th, from 11:00 AM until the time of his service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Dixon Cemetery, Jamestown, Kentucky, next to his beloved wife, Sharon.
