Marie A. Hovi, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26^th. Cherished mother of Marie (Brian Strand) Hovi, Edward Hovi, Jr., Michael Hovi, David (Late Mercedes) Hovi, and Linda (Pat) Ganster; Loving grandmother of 7; Great-grandmother of 1; Dear sister of Mary (Walt) Walter, Patricia (Don) Greenland, Bernadette Doran and the late Ann Doran; Devoted daughter of the late Bernard P. Doran and the late Marie Doran (nee Jewell). Marie loved to collect giraffes! She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Church in Mokena. If you were ever to look for her, you could find her on Tuesdays and Fridays playing Bingo at the Frankfort Senior Center! Due to Coronavirus restrictions, all services were private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to either St. Mary’s Church, 19515 115^th Ave., Mokena, IL 60448 or Frankfort Senior Center, 11000 W. Lincoln Hwy, Frankfort, IL 60423 would be appreciated.
