Mary Johnson (nee Perry)

Long time antique dealer from Lowell, Indiana, passed away January 18th, 2022, taking her vast knowledge of history, design from her years of floral school and basket making, and love of western movies with her.

Her life was filled with the love of learning, and her knowledge and sharing her love for history with others. She was never without a book at hand to read or a Western movie playing.

Mary was loved and cared for in life by Lila and Mick Wiersma.  She was a beloved family member to Jason and Sarah Wiersma; Haley, Bryce, Addison, and Joscelyn Wiersma, Jennifer (nee Wiersma) and Paul Bondar; Kalina and Brooks Bondar; and her longtime friend, Dawn Hudak.

Daughter of Isabelle Perry-Wells and Step-father, Donald Richard Wells; Sister Of Terry (Cindy), “Ricky” (Donald Richard, Jr.) (Joyce), “Sissy” (Joyce) (Jim), and Linda (Lance);  Mother to Timothy (Kathy) Johnson and Keely Johnson. Grandmother to Madelyn and Isabelle Johnson. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, January 28^th, 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:30 PM at the Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park. Private cremation rites to follow.
