Michael Andrew Fahey

Michael A. Fahey, 51, of Matteson, formerly of New Lenox passed away suddenly on Thursday, Decemember 5th. Loving son of the late William E. Fahey and Susan K. (nee Link).  Beloved husband of Julie Ann (nee Gerdes), whom he married in 1990; Devoted father of Timothy, Sean, and Daniel Fahey; Dear brother of Mary Fahey, Fred Fahey, Amy (Joe Cabello) Fahey, Patrick (Debby) Fahey, Charlie (Deborah) Fahey, and the late Nancy Readman; Fond Brother-in-law of Kevin Readman;  Many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and surrogate children. Mike was the founder of Mike Fahey Sealcoating, which he started in 2000 and was a proud Army Veteran. Memorial service at the Thomas E. Hartung American Legion Post #1977, 14414 Ford Drive, New Lenox, IL will take place on Saturday, December 21st at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life immediately following. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family for distribution to their favorite charities would be appreciated.
