Michael Charles Muehe, age 66, suddenly. Formerly of Richton Park, late of Steger. Cherished husband of Carol (nee Hefner); loving father of George (Keri) Linskens of Lowell, Indiana, Jeff Hefner (Heather) of Griffith, Indiana, James Hefner (Julie) of Shorewood, Illinois; fond father-in-law of Tammy Hefner of Richton Park, Illinois; beloved grandfather of Jeannine (Nathan Raby), Megan (Alec Yeagley), Natalie Linskens, Jeffery Hefner (Briguett), Jason Hefner (fiancé Ana), Alyssa Hefner (Tony), Mason, Memphis and Madelyn Hefner, and the late Nolan and Addison Hefner; great-grandfather of nine; brother of Carol Turnbull and the late Edwin "Butch" Jr. Former logistical employee of the Batesville Casket Company and retired Spotter for the Vitran Corporation based in University Park. Mike was a member of the National Rifle Association, and a dedicated participant of the annual Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run. Graveside Interment Service Saturday, July 15th at 2:00 p.m. at Skyline Memorial Park, 24800 S Governor's Highway, Monee. Visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon at Skyline Memorial Park Chapel.
