Nancy Mary Noble, known to many as "Aunt Nancy", has gracefully bid farewell to the world, leaving behind a legacy that forever be cherished. Her journey began on July 8, 1945, in Hinsdale, Illinois, where she first graced her family with her presence. Nancy's story came to a peaceful close on March 10, 2024, in Orland Park, Illinois, where she departed surrounded by love.
Throughout her career spanning from 1970 to 2000 at Hinckley Schmidt Company as a dedicated Data Entry professional, Nancy showcased unwavering commitment and integrity. Her work ethic was truly commendable and left a mark on all those who had the pleasure of crossing paths with her.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Nancy's true joy stemmed from the warmth of family gatherings and festive celebrations. With a heart full of love and kindness, she embraced Joe, Brian, and Laura as her own children despite never having children of her own. Robert and Michael found a special place in her heart as well and were cherished like grandchildren. Her endearing nature and selfless acts of love will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. She was an avid pet lover and leaves behind her 2 precious and loving cats " Tootsie" and " Misty" who were with her to the very end. Tootsie was lying on top of her as the angels came for her.
Nancy's vibrant spirit extended beyond the confines of her workplace and familial bonds. She found solace in swimming at her condo and held a deep admiration for Elvis Presley seeing him 5 times in concert. In a poignant twist of fate, Nancy found peace in the arms of the music she adored listening to it in her final days - doing it "Her Way."
In the wake of her passing, Nancy leaves behind cherished memories for her surviving family and friends to hold close. Preceding her in death are her mother Frances, father James Noble, brother James Noble, sister Janet Matisko (Joe) and nephew Brian Matisko. We reflect on the moments shared with Nancy with love and fondness especially her niece Laura (Marty) Komperda of Homer Glen, Illinois; nephews Joseph A. Matisko of Worth, Illinois; great-nephews Robert and Michael Bugos of Homer Glen; as well as many cousins in the LaVine and Busch Families. They share in both their grief for their loss and gratitude for having been part of Nancy's life journey.
A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on April 21st at Papa Joe's Italian Restaurant in Orland Park. Let us gather to honor the beautiful life led by Nancy Mary Noble - a woman whose kindness knew no bounds and whose spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts.
