Rachel G Kubon

Rachel G. Kubon, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6^th at her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, John Kubon, Jr., Christel (Pamela Basmajian) Kubon, Sherrie Kubon and Amber (Curtis) Straczek; Cherished grandmother of Jermie, Rachel, Randie, Brandon, Melissa, Lucas, Gabriella and Samuel; Great-Grandmother of 10; Loving sister of Doris (Ernie) Domm and sister-in-law of Bill Smith; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her son, Randall Kubon, her parents, George M. and Sadie I Gant, and her sister, Margaret Smith. Rachel retired as a CNA for Star Health Care Services, a home health care organization, where she took loving care of many patients through the years. She was a Holistic Healer, sharing her knowledge with those who sought it. She enjoyed cooking when she had the time to actually practice at it! She was truly the matriarch of her family and will be greatly missed by all of them! In keeping with her wishes, private graveside services will be held.
