Ronald A. Baker

Ronald A. Baker, 79, of Crete, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Franciscan Health in Dyer, Indiana. Beloved husband of 28 years to Donna Baker (nee Sherman) and the late Lenora Baker; Loving father of Brad (Andrea) Baker, Brooke (Ryan) Jacobs and the late Brent Baker; Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Jenna, Ava, Wyatt, Owen, Jacqueline, Luke and Kylee; Devoted brother of Bonnie (Jim) Petrus; and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was the former owner of Tri-State Roofing and Siding Wholesale in Hickory Hills, retiring in 2008. His hobbies included baseball and softball, especially his beloved Cubs, gardening, caring for his horse at the farm, golf, bowling, and DIY projects, including the birdhouses he enjoyed creating. He will be missed by the family cats, whom he enjoyed immensely. Visitation will be Sunday, January 16^th from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 3:30 PM at the chapel in Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery, 24800 S. Governors Highway, Monee, Illinois.
